Eriksson, 1 Problem Down

Michael Owen Good news for Eriksson that Michael Owen doesn’t have any obstacles anymore from playing in the upcoming World Cup competition. This is one problem solved for him after all he still got one big headache out of Wayne Rooney’s injury.

He was hit by the popular “metatarsal” injury last December which spread like a virus among players as the world cup competition draws near. He suffered the injury in a collision with Tottenham keeper Paul Robinson on December 31.

Michael has enough time to get himself in the groove of things with the remaining games prior to the competition. Having said that, I have a strong feeling he will be performing better than Rooney if ever he does play. Given the circumstances of the situation, Owen has a very good chance of boosting his international brand if he comes strong in the competition. He has a very good opportunity with Beckham being too old perform and Rooney might be out of synch come competition.

How possible that Michael have performances like this in Germany?

May the force be with you!
