Miroslav Klose has been terrific in the Finals leading all scorers with 4 goals and is on target on winning the golden shoe award. With Germany winning it’s third game it looks their confidence has skyrocketed and they are now playing beautiful football altogether.

Klose is finding the net more and more, combined with the maturing leadership of Michael Ballack their are turning to be a formidable team in this year’s Finals.

Miroslav’s goal came in the fourth minute on a looping cross from the left from Per Mertesacker which cut back across the face of goal by Bastian Schweinsteiger and buried from eight yards by Miroslav Klose. His second goal came one minute before half via Ballack’s pass that saw him hitting on a wide open net.

Germany has solidified it’s bid on winning the World Cup and TSG analyst Andy says: Germany knew exactly what to do
Germany fully deserved their victory. They completely dominated the game from start to finish and the three-goal margin did not flatter them in the slightest. They knew what to do with the ball and how to play, and were tactically superior.

The hosts’ superiority was clear to see in two areas in particular. Firstly, their work down the flanks was outstanding. At their training session yesterday I could see Jurgen Klinsmann was working hard on getting players to overlap down the wings and put in crosses. His team did that perfectly today. They also linked up superbly in midfield, where Michael Ballack controlled the game throughout.
