How Long Can Louis Saha Continue His Superb Play?

Louis Saha with four goals in six games is showing the reason why Ruud Van Nistelrooy was kicked out of the club. We’re not taking anything against Ruud and he is still playing great ball right now at Real Madrid; but Louis Saha’s 28 year-old frame could mean a number more years of great football for Louis Saha.

Can Louis continue the pace? We still have to see him perform and score important goals for the club. Two of his four goals came against a lesser team Celtic and he wasn’t able to score against a bigger club Arsenal. It would take time to determine if Louis can finally fill-in the shoes of Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Alex Ferguson has helped Saha develop and mature from his previous playing from Newcastle into who he is today. Alex will definitely spend more time with Saha as it is clear of his value to the team after snatching attention and importance from prolific striker Ruud.

Louis Saha says Ruud has not pressure him to play well: Ruud leaving has had no effect on me.
It has not changed the way I approach games. I still do all the same things. I work hard and do my best, as I always have.

I don’t think there is any extra pressure on me to score either because we have plenty of other players capable of doing that.
I just need to keep taking my chances in order to keep my place
