Ten is the Imaginary Number for Alex Ferguson
Alex Ferguson has a comedic touch on this one. He said they could have scored ten goals against Celtic instead of the 3-2 score they accomplished in their Champions League kickoff had it not been for a five on the back formation of their opponent.
Well, if Celtic or any other team didn’t have a backline, you probably would have put in 100 goals. Alex, if your had Ruud, you would only need four more goals for the 10 output you’re talking about, but apparently you don’t.
Manchester United trailed the Celtic 0 – 1 before tying the game but managed to go ahead with a 2 – 1 score. Celtic however, tied the game, and Alex downplayed it by saying it was a goal due to being slack.
We’ll see when if ever you get to score ten goals in a game; but for now, you have to worry about Benefica later this month because it shall be humiliating to bow down to them one more time.
