You are Giving us the Pen to Write You Off

Steven Gerrard is asking the people not to write them off even after their defeat against United left them 11 points behind leaders Manchester and Chelsea. He said that the leaders are going to slip while they are going to get ten straight wins in a row.

Gerrard is thinking way ahead and should instead look at teams like Reading, Blackburn, Tottenham, etc. who are way closer than Manchester and Chelsea are. Steven shouldn’t ask anything because they are the ones giving people the pen to write them off with their string of lackluster performances. Steven needs to fix himself first after struggling on the right midfield with the team.

Steven insists that their talent is way too good to lose the premiership title. His play is way too chaotic at this stage to even consider them rising a bit in the standings.
