Taarabt Made a Very Good Move

Adel Taarabt of French Racing Lens has made a good move by signing with Tottenham Hotspur and rejecting offers from Arsenal and Chelsea.

The Spurs signed the 17-year-old youngster to the tune of 3.5 million euros after clubs have been going after him for the last four weeks.

Spurs were able to sign Taarabt by making sure he is integrated in their first team, giving him a chance to play and hone his skills. I am glad he did not sign with Chelsea because most likely he would be riding the bench without any assurances of when he will be utilized.
A move to Arsenal is not bad considering they were able to give Theo Walcott the chance to grow his skills but not giving him assurances he would have the same treatment with Spurs prompted him to reject their offer.

The question would be — How long will Adel stay with Spurs? When he develops into a superstar player it would not be a surprise if he gets interested in higher clubs such as Chelsea. At least for now we know he needs Spurs more than any other team.
