Darren Bent is a Gamble for Liverpool

Craig Bellamy is a valuable player for Liverpool but his age and problematic behavior on and off the court makes sense of shipping him in exchange of a hardworking young player named Darren Bent.

Craig is valued at £9 million and rumored to be shipped to Aston Villa to make way for Charlton striker Darren Bent. Darren is 22-years-old and shows a lot of potential but he remains a gamble compared to a matured and developed Craig. Rafa Benitez seems to have a lot of faith in the kid as he sees someone who is going to do greater things for the club than Bellamy would ever do.

Injured Darren is a work in progress and the gamble would be determined in a few years’ time.
