Applauding Torinto

The observer report Torinto’s efforts in developing the soccer program in Swaziland.

He said he realized whilst working in the country that talent was abundant and therefore developed interest to nurture the young players. Since his departure in 2001 after coaching Simunye FC, Torinto is now based in Canada, where he is running a schools football development programme.

“I was very happy to work with the people of Swaziland who are really hospitable. Their kind gesture has made me develop the interest to help the country in many ways.

Yesterday I reported about Zambias pathetic leadership team that affect player development which is disheartening; today, I am glad efforts are made to progress the sport through programs aimed at developing players.

Much is expected Torinto!
