Abramovich Has Finally Toned Down
Abramovich has finally toned down their spendings in Chelsea which creates a more balance competition for every team during this January’s transfer window. Chelsea is known for spending too much for any team to cope up and Abramovich has stated in The Observer that their spending days are over.
Is this true? I think he is just docking a while until he finds a replacement for Mourinho who can better work with him on choosing the players they need to win. It is publicly known that their relationship with each other is heavily damaged where the manager no longer talks to the owner without using a third party assistance.
The owner is not opening his pockets and would not give Jose the tools he need to succeed. He in turn is setting the manager up for failure and shows everyone who he is on the team. Nevertheless, Jose is still expected to win because of all the previous spendings they have made so far.
For the time being, Abramovich is sitting this transfer window out.
