Anton Ferdinand for Chelsea?
They failed to sign Lucas Neil, Ben Haim, Matteo Ferrari and Sol Campbell to fill-in their defensive gap which is a necessity if they hope to catch Manchester United in the standings. As I have reported Jose Mourinho said he isn’t paying any crazy amount and would rather see his 55-year-old assistant play for the position, Yeah right!
Desperate to sign someone in the transfer window, they have now focused their attention on Wes Ham’s Anton Ferdinand in the hope to lure him for $25m. He is the brother of Rio Ferdinand, ironically of Manchester United. It would be interesting to see if he signs with Chelsea making both of them battle it out with their respective rival teams.

The way Anton’s been playing, he’s barely worth 2.5
