Ballack: My Pride is Ready

Michael Ballack Is it Adrenaline of the hysteria happening just hours before the World Cup? Or is Michael Ballack just ready to play?

Coach Jurgen Klinsmann did not feel optimistic about Michael playing the in the first game after he broke off from training after half an hour to undergo intensive treatment.

He went on by saying:

“Naturally, we would have loved to have Michael on board for the opening game. He is our leader, our captain, but the most important thing for us is that he recovers as soon as possible and can concentrate on regaining match fitness. We hope to have him available for our second match.”

Just hours before the start of the World Cup Michael has declared he is fit to play and his calf injury no longer bothers him due to intensive medication in the past two days.

I hope it is not of German Pride to play in the first game.

Costa Rica deserves to be in the finals but it ain’t worth to risk a player of Michael’s caliberas Germany can beat them.

Nontheless, go Michael! Seldom does this happen on the opening of the World Cup. Host country. First Game. Star of the team. Go, go, go!!!
