Richard Murray Must be Crazy

Friday, December 22nd, 2006

Why would the job of Charlton head coach Les Reed remain safe? 1 win, 1 draw and 5 losses don’t look like a good performance and their defeat against Wycombe should have sealed his fate. The fans are uneasy and Richard is crazy to keep his manager in place.

Les Reed should make drastic changes from training, people, etc. to yield results. Staying with him seems sensible since working on a team handed to you is not easy and would require time and rebuilding to make them competitive; but the bottom-line is still getting the win. The fans don’t care about what’s going on and at the end of the day what matters most is adding numbers upward.

How long would Richard endure the outrage of their fans? He must be crazy not to realize a decision has to be made.

I Don’t Believe Mourinho has 9 Untouchables

Saturday, December 9th, 2006

This is a joke and take it from Mourinho as it is. 9 untouchables? Andriy Shevchenko has been shoved in the face by Mourinho saying he is not included in his list of untouchables at Chelsea because of the way he is playing.

Shevchenko Hungry for Success?

Friday, December 8th, 2006

Is Shevchenko hungry for success with Chelsea as he pointed out? I doubt the striker has time to turn things around while playing in English football and should just leave and join clubs like AC Milan who have shown interest in him.

Chelsea said that Shevchenko is not going anywhere and he is committed to help the team reach the highest level of success. Shevchenko is firm to stay with Chelsea and he expects his performance to become better as each game passes. I believe the striker is not going anywhere because he could smell major success with Chelsea with or without him. By staying in the club he ensures that his market value is going to increase over time before he makes his move.

The days of Shevchenko is over and he better get his mindset straight, stay put in the club, and win a title because he ain’t doing it elsewhere other than Chelsea.

Cocky Mourinho Cheap Shots Manchester United

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

Mourinho takes a cheap shot at Manchester United saying they are going to overtake them and finish on top of the league. He says that Manchester United is playing great football right now but could only manage to get a three point lead. The second half of the season according to Mourinho is going to be so difficult for Manchester which includes a trip to Stamford Bridge.

Should Manchester United listen? Only a stupid manager wouldn’t listen to their competition. No matter how well established their club is, knowing your enemies and seeing where they are coming from should be your utmost concern.

Kenneth Perez is giving Smalltalk

Monday, November 27th, 2006

Kenneth Perez says that everyone who knows him, knows he is not a racist. It’s obvious that everyone who knows him doesn’t know he is a racist. How in the world could he automatically racially attack a linesman during a match against Twente Enschede last week without him being one? He insists it is the heat of the moment that led him to such attacks. I have news for you Kenneth, it is during those times that the true color of the person comes out.
