David Beckham Has Eaten Up Entertainment Channels

David Beckham and Victoria BeckhamL.A. Galaxy may have forgotten they have recruited David Beckham for their footballing need; maybe, they never really care about his footballing contributions.

David & Victoria Beckham ate the entertainment world for themselves. Yesterday, the convenient store I was buying from had David Beckham on their magazine stand. When I arrived home, David & Victoria Beckham filled entertainment aggregation sites. When I opened the television, the entertainment channel kept on showing David and Victoria bits and pieces throughout the end of the show. During commercials, David & Victoria were shown.

David and Victoria Beckham is now officially a Hollywood power couple. Who cares if nobody remembers David Beckham came to the United States to play football. The most important thing for the owners of L.A. Galaxy is to recoup all astronomical expenses they have incurred in bringing the former England captain to their soil. David’s priority is posing in front of the camera than actually meeting his teamates and setting up a stage for them to win everything in the upcoming season. Come to think of it, David doesn’t care at all, because a sub-par performance would already mean MVP honours for him given the mediocre level of play in the United States compared that to Europe.

Are serious football fans like me mad at David Beckham?

Not really. We just don’t like the fact that it sends a negative image to football players, fans and young football hopefuls on the image portrayed of being a football star. David Beckham is getting more than enough treatment to what he is really worth on the field. He is getting unprecedented status reserved only to football icons who has delivered their team to winning the FIFA World Cup Finals, and their league competitions.

We cannot do anything more than because in the end no one cares about how David Beckham approach the game of football in the United States; afterall, he would still reign supreme during games.

The radio started making me really angry today when ESPN was out right bashing soccer, and David Beckham. It seems that the jock head radio hosts on ESPN really have it out for Beckham, and soccer. They basically had a call fest where people could call in to talk about how lame soccer is and how Beckham is only coming here for the money.
