Andrew Johnson is not going anywhere as earlier reported that he is heading back to his hometown — London.
Andrew is having the time of his career and has been elevated alongside Wayne Rooney for the Uefa Euro in 2008.
The star player made official his commitment to the club by issuing this statement:
If I could sign here for the rest of my career I would do it tomorrow. I am more than happy here, I love the club, the fans and the lads in the dressing room.
I am sure the fans can see how much I love it here in my football but I want to make it clear there is no truth in reports that I want to leave.
I am loving being an Everton player and I regard it as a great honour to put that blue shirt on every week. I would love to think I will still be here in seven years.
Andrew’s 11 goals since his summer arrival in a £8.6m has not gone unnoticed.
