Judgement Day!
It’s judgement day for the England star! Wayne Rooney was the main attraction during England’s training session in Germany and people are waiting whether the star would be able to play in the FIFA World Cup which kicks off in the next two days.
Rooney is going to fly back to Manchester for a final scan and his fate will be decided within the next 16 hours. Everyone wants him to play I suppose, whether you are routing or against England.
His chances looks good especially after seeing him exercise — ball work, sprinting, stretches.
Even here in the office the community is buzzing about his return and talks about the options the team has if he doesn’t comeback. It was argued that England should use 4-5-1 formation with Owen and Luckott (It’s a term I coined for Theo) up front.
It’s not that people believe in Luckott it’s because there is no option and Crouch is a man they feel sucks.
Anyways, the idea there is that England should play to their strength which is the midfield position and should think about a choking defense until Rooney comes back.
If Rooney does come back then these things might change. The judgement day has arrived!
