Rooney Cleared for Takeoff!

Rooney cleared for takeoff (owes it to legions of supporters)! Everyone especially England waited anxiously when Rooney checked in the hospital for his scheduled scan a litte over lunch time. Sigh of relief for the whole world after England doctor Leif Sward, Man Utd club doctor Tony Gill, physiotherapist Rob Swire and another doctor (for second opinion) gave Rooney the go signal.
At long, long last we can put this aside because this kid is all over the media for quite sometime already and we got lots of things to do other than wait and watch for his progress.
Apparently, Sweden isn’t too happy about it especially when their press reported that Wayne “Shreck” Rooney is playing again. Aside from Beckham and Owen, Rooney gives them a lot of firepower in the games that could prove pivotal in crucial plays.
The whole world can put this to rest and focus on other things more exciting and important. Well, Rooney is very exciting and important; it’s just that we have had enough of him already.

Green light for Rooney!…
All soccer fans around the world were confused and somewhat disappointed that he who was likely to be the brightest light in the World Cup finals was risking to loose them. All this because of his loyalty to the game and even though 3-0 down at Stamfor…

I do not know how many words have been written in the newspapers and websites on Rooney after his being injured but it has, no doubt, been the most talking point over the world. So, hearing the news of his coming back top the field is certainly a matter of headache of England’s rival teams.

Germany 4 - Castarica 2. Good start for Host, but not convincing .

Ahmed — Not really. I am not a huge England fan. Talk about being biased. hehehe.
Though they definitely have a better chance with Rooney there.
Yup it ain’t an acid test game but very good for an opening salvo.
