What did Polygon see in the Books of Newcastle?
Polygon is an American group which requested access to the books of Newcastle for a rumored takeover bid.
Freddy Sheperd of Newcastle confirmed last month that they were in dicussions with the group for the takeover but this morning St. James’ Park Group issued a statement to the Stock Exchange that they were not making any offer to Newcastle as of the moment.
There are a lot of factors why the group would not want to offer Newcastle anything; but still, I wonder what did the guys see on the books of the club.
