World Cup Virus on the Loose

Who wants to win knowing your opponents’ best players are on the bench nursing an injury?

Luke Young Injuries spices up the competition. It’s what brings unpredictability to the outcome. Coaches are tested, players are challenged, and the rest of the team are in a state of distraction during these times; especially when the injured player is their superstar.

Below is a list of players who ill-fated got injured. Its like a virus on the loose clinging on from one player to another:

2. Lee Dong-gook (South Korea), torn right cruciate ligament
3. Oliver Kahn (Germany), rib cage injury
4. Vahid Hashemian (Iran), knee injury
5. Gabriel Heinze (Argentina), finger injury
6. Luke Young (England), left ankle ligaments (seen in picture)
7. Raul (Spain), knee injury

I hope that come World Cup competition, players that could make a big difference in the outcome is healthy and in top shape.
