Zidane is Done?

(Updated. He has proven everyone wrong by winning the Golden Ball award) Hi guys! I owe you a lot these last few days. For some reason I felt very tired and exhausted. Anyways, I have a lot of catching up to do so here goes…

In our company community emails bounce back and forth as we approach the world cup competition and its surprising how people believe so much in their country of having an above average chance in winning the competition.

Zinedine Zidane France for instance is hot in our community especially when Zidane is believed to retire with a bang. Do you agree? For what it’s worth his brand will stand all time as the great player who performs exceptionally well in competitions but judging by his performance on his 100th game match for France proves otherwise.

Giving the ball seven times while playing in the central midfield behind two strikers is not something to celebrate for France. His season with Real Madrid may be catching up on his body and age which explains why he looked sluggish and off pace against Mexico’s defenders.

Zidane though tells the media how lucky he is and how his desire is 100 to 1000 times stronger. How about his body? Is it 1000 times stronger than it used to be? The mind is strong but the body is weak and in competitions at the highest level like the World Cup age frustrates even the best players in the world whenever their body would not follow what their heart and mind tells them to do.

I would not dismiss Zidane though in the competition, he may have that final push to score a goal in the most crucial part of the game.

One thing is certain, he needs his teamates more than he ever needed them before.

    zidane is the Best,he really has proven everyone else wrong .he deserved wat he has got
    “HE CAME, HE SAW N HE CONQUERED”
    i really liked him so much though i saw him for the first time. he is very graceful n decent. may God bless him
